
Dr. Maravich is a 2002 graduate of UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. She also holds a Bachelors of Science degree from California State University, Sacramento, and a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree from The Art Institute of Chicago. Having worked in emergency medicine for more than 7 years, she holds a special interest in internal medicine, emergency medicine, and soft tissue surgery. She strives to nurture a high quality of life for cats and dogs and understands the importance of their role as family members. She believes that compassionate care and client education are key to furthering this goal. A recent transplant from Ohio to North Carolina, Dr. Maravich is a busy mother of three children, a dog, two cats, 6 guinea pigs, 2 mini-pigs and a lizard named Beardo. In her free time she enjoys painting pet portraits, gardening, and reading.
