Dental Care

Annual dental care is essential to keeping your pet healthy. However, oral health is one of the most easily overlooked concerns with small animals.

What to look for…

Teeth and gums, if left untreated will result in gingivitis, cavities, and a very serious condition called periodontal disease. This disease can be easily detected by an onset of bad breath, painful mouth, and loose or missing teeth. Other indications are a decrease in appetite or difficulty chewing; which leads to an unhealthy weight loss. Periodontal disease has also been linked to many life-threatening health issues in animals, such as heart, liver, lung, and kidney infections.
